Capsule Manufacturing for Private Label Brands

Capsules from a tea factory? Yes — and here's why it works

One audited supplier for both your tea line and your capsule line.

Our Guangzhou facility was built for teas and grew into full functional-food manufacturing: hard capsules, tablets, and softgels run on dedicated lines in the same certified plant. For brands, that means one audited supplier for both your tea line and your capsule line.

What we manufacture

Private label capsules, end to end

Your formula or ours → R&D and sample approval → encapsulation → bottling and labeling with your brand → QC → export packing. Capsule lines run under GMP standards alongside ISO9001, ISO22000, and HACCP, in 100,000-class clean workshops.

The same factory behind the capsules

Brands that buy private label tea often add capsules as a second category — one supplier, one shipment. We also offer full dietary supplement contract manufacturing.

Why brands add capsules to a tea order

Tea and capsules solve different problems for the same customer. A tea SKU is a daily ritual — familiar, low-friction, easy to merchandise on a shelf or a landing page. A capsule SKU is a concentrated dose — compact to ship, simple to take, and a natural companion for customers who already trust your tea for a specific need. When a buyer discovers your brand through a functional tea, a matching capsule is often the next purchase.

Sourcing both from one manufacturer removes a layer of coordination. Instead of managing separate suppliers, separate timelines, separate quality systems, and separate shipments, you consolidate paperwork and freight. One set of certifications covers both categories. One quality team answers both sets of questions. One production calendar aligns your tea run and your capsule run so they land in the same shipment.

How capsule projects differ from tea projects

Capsules and tea share a supply chain but not a production logic. Tea is defined largely by leaf grade, blend, and format — pyramid bag, flat bag, string-and-tag, or loose leaf. Capsules are defined by fill weight, powder or granule flow, capsule shell type, and stability of the formula inside the shell. Tablets add compression variables: hardness, friability, and disintegration behavior. Softgels involve a different filling and sealing process entirely.

Because our Guangzhou plant runs functional, flavor, and herbal teas alongside instant powders, gummies, tablet candy, capsules, softgels, patches, and jelly, we can look at a brand's full portfolio rather than a single SKU. That matters when a formula can be delivered in more than one format — a botanical blend might work as a tea, a capsule, or an instant powder depending on the positioning and the target market.

A closer look at the capsule workflow

A typical private label capsule project moves through clear stages:

Brief and formula. You bring a developed formula, a reference sample, or a concept. We work in your formula or propose one from our development pipeline.

Sampling and approval. Samples are produced for your review — appearance, fill weight, sensory profile, and packaging direction. Nothing is scaled up before the sample is approved.

Encapsulation and finishing. Approved product runs on capsule lines inside 100,000-class clean workshops, under GMP standards alongside ISO9001, ISO22000, and HACCP.

Bottling, labeling, and QC. Product is filled into bottles or your chosen container, labeled with your brand, and checked through QA/QC before release.

Export packing and dispatch. Finished goods are packed for export, with documentation handled for the destination market.

Concept to finished product runs approximately 15 days, and roughly 20 new products move through development each year. The company holds 20 invention patents.

Who we are, in short

Choosing a capsule manufacturer: what to check

Certifications that match your market. ISO9001, ISO22000, and HACCP cover quality and food safety systems. Depending on your destination, you may also need HALAL, FDA registration, or export food enterprise filing. Confirm the manufacturer holds what your market requires before you commit.

Cleanroom classification. Capsule filling is sensitive to contamination and humidity. 100,000-class clean workshops are a baseline signal that the production environment is controlled.

Line coverage and capacity. A manufacturer that runs capsules, tablets, and softgels on dedicated lines can support a broader roadmap than one with a single format. Our 13 production lines and 30 sets of equipment support that range.

Sampling before scale-up. A serious partner produces samples before full production. This protects both sides.

Responsiveness and dispatch performance. Response within 4 hours and 99.5% on-time dispatch reflect how a manufacturer operates day to day, not just at the sales stage.

Minimum order quantities that fit your launch. Tea retail packs start from roughly 100-120 bags or boxes; gummies and tablets from roughly 100-150 boxes. Bulk OEM is quoted per project, since format, fill weight, and packaging drive the economics.

How to compare quotes

Capsule quotes are not directly comparable unless you normalize the inputs. Ask each supplier to quote on the same fill weight, the same capsule shell, the same container and count, the same labeling, and the same Incoterms. A low unit price on a smaller fill weight or a lighter container can look competitive while delivering less product per unit.

Ask what is included: formula development, sampling, packaging sourcing, labeling, export documentation, and freight. Some manufacturers quote production only and bill everything else separately. Also ask how MOQ scales — whether a second SKU shares the same minimum, and how reorders are priced versus first runs.

Formats that pair well with capsules

A brand does not have to choose one format. Our lines cover functional, flavor, and herbal teas in pyramid, flat, and string-and-tag bags plus loose leaf; instant powders; gummies; tablet candy; capsules; softgels; patches; and jelly. A capsule can anchor a focused supplement line while a tea carries the daily ritual, or an instant powder can serve customers who prefer a drink to a swallow.

If you are weighing formats, compare by how the customer uses the product, how it ships, and what claims your market allows — not by unit cost alone.

Common buyer questions

Can you produce with our formula? Yes. We work in your formula or develop one with you.
