How OEM tea works here
A reference sample, a formula sketch, or a target consumer — any of the three is enough to start.
OEM tea manufacturing means we make tea to your specification — your recipe or ours, your packaging, your brand. Most clients arrive with one of three things: a reference sample they want matched or improved, a formula sketch, or simply a target consumer and price point. All three are enough to start.
The path: about 15 days, in five phases
- Brief. You send the concept, sample, or target profile. We confirm feasibility and compliance notes for your market.
- Recipe. Our R&D team builds the blend. Around 20 new products a year come out of this lab, backed by 20 invention patents held by our Guangzhou company.
- Your approval. We ship tasting samples; you approve flavor, aroma, and appearance — or we iterate.
- Packaging. Your artwork on bags, boxes, or tins; dielines and materials confirmed.
- Production & QC. Blending, bagging, and packing in 100,000-class clean workshops, verified by 2 QA/QC inspectors, then export packing.
Timelines flex with order size and packaging complexity; about 15 days is our standard concept-to-finished-product cycle for custom development.

Who we are
Guangzhou Wansongtang Biological Technology Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Wansongtang Health Group, which was founded in 1996. Our Guangzhou company was established in 2011 and operates from Guangzhou, Guangdong, China. We make tea and supplements for brands that want one manufacturing partner across multiple product categories rather than juggling separate suppliers for tea bags, capsules, gummies, and powders.
Our house brands — Winstown (our main export brand), Wansongtang, and Daynee — give us firsthand experience of what it takes to launch and sustain a consumer product line, not just fill a production order. That perspective shapes how we quote, plan, and communicate on OEM, ODM, private label, and wholesale projects.
Product lines you can source from one factory
- Functional, flavor, and herbal teas — pyramid bags, flat bags, string-and-tag bags, and loose leaf
- Instant powders — for stick packs, sachets, and jar formats
- Gummies and tablet candy
- Capsules and softgels
- Patches and jelly
Because these lines sit under one roof, a brand building a wellness range can develop a tea SKU, a gummy SKU, and a capsule SKU through a single point of contact, with shared compliance paperwork and consolidated export packing.
Choosing a tea bag format
Buyers often ask which bag format fits their market. The short version:
- String-and-tag bags suit everyday retail and foodservice where cost per unit matters most.
- Flat bags offer a clean, conventional look for standard retail boxes.
- Pyramid bags give whole-leaf and large-particle blends room to expand, which supports premium positioning and functional blends with visible ingredients.
- Loose leaf works for wholesale, refill, and specialty retail where the buyer values leaf appearance and brewing control.
The right choice depends on your leaf size, your price tier, and how the product will be merchandised. We confirm the format against your blend during the recipe stage so the bag and the tea perform together.
Certifications and what they cover
Our facility holds ISO9001, ISO22000, HACCP, GMP standards, HALAL, FDA registration, export food enterprise filing, and National High-Tech Enterprise recognition. For buyers, each of these answers a different question: quality management systems, food safety management, hazard control, manufacturing practice, halal market access, US market registration, export eligibility, and technical innovation standing. Tell us your destination market and channel, and we will confirm which documentation applies to your order before production begins.
MOQ guidance
- Tea in retail packaging: from roughly 100–120 bags or boxes
- Gummies and tablets: from roughly 100–150 boxes
- Bulk OEM: quoted per project, since volume, blend, and packing method vary widely
If you are launching a new brand, the retail-pack minimums let you test a market without committing to a container-scale order. Bulk OEM is the better route when you already have packaging or repack locally.
Buyer FAQs
Can you match a sample I already sell? Yes. Send the sample with your target profile — flavor, aroma, appearance, and price point — and we build toward it through the recipe and approval stages.
Do you work with my packaging or supply it? Both are possible. Many clients send artwork for bags, boxes, or tins; we confirm dielines and materials during the packaging stage. If you need sourcing help on packaging, raise it in the brief.
How do you handle market compliance? We confirm compliance notes for your market during the brief, and we can point to the certifications above. You remain responsible for local labeling and claims rules in your destination market.
How fast is communication? Our response time is within 4 hours, and our on-time dispatch rate is 99.5%.
What is the difference between OEM, ODM, and private label here? OEM means we manufacture to your specification. ODM means you adopt or adapt a formula we have developed. Private label means the product carries your brand across packaging and positioning. Wholesale covers bulk supply of tea for buyers who handle their own branding and packing. We support all four.
Can I order across categories in one project? Yes — a single brand can combine tea, capsules, gummies, and other lines from our Guangzhou facility, which simplifies paperwork and shipping.
What to prepare before you ask for a quote
To get an accurate quote quickly, have these ready: your target market and sales channel, your product concept or reference sample, your preferred bag or dosage format, your packaging status, and your expected first-order volume. If some of these are undecided, say so — we can quote scenarios rather than guess.
Why buyers consolidate with one manufacturer
Sourcing tea, capsules, gummies, and powders from separate factories multiplies your audits, sample rounds, and shipping coordination. Consolidating with one manufacturer means one quality system, one certification set, one development timeline, and one export process. With 13 production lines, 30 sets of equipment, and 100,000-class clean workshops in a 5,235 m² facility, we are built to carry multiple categories for the same brand.
Export experience
We export to 30+ countries and regions, including North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Southeast Asia. Our Alibaba main markets are Africa at 50%, North America at 20%, and Southeast Asia at 10%. That spread means we regularly handle the documentation, packing, and labeling expectations of diverse destinations — useful when your brand sells into more than one region.
